SCARAB 2015 Round-Up

by Michael Brown

Far and away, SCARAB 2015 has been the most exciting and successful SCARAB for Warmachine & Hordes to date.  With a total 52 players between Iron Arena and tournaments and nearly 20 rounds of tournament play this weekend, it's the highest turn-out for Privateer Press games SCARAB has ever seen.

Brian Cape worked his usual magic as "Pit Boss", making sure everything was running smoothly and as the needs were met throughout the con.  Chris Olsson and Jeremy Bridges served as amazing judges on the tournaments all weekend long.  Andrew Bailey and Jonathan Lawler worked hard on demos and Iron Arena making sure players new and old had games to play at SCARAB 5.  Without a doubt, I worked with five outstanding Press Gangers this weekend.

As usual, Del Collins, Steve Holley, and the entire SCARAB staff made us feel more than welcome, making sure that everyone's needs were met and that a great weekend of gaming could be had by all.  And of course, the most important part of any such event, the gamers themselves.  Watching every player relax, joke around, and enjoy themselves makes helping run events just plain fun.

My congratulations to all of winners over the course of the weekend and my immense thanks to everyone that made SCARAB 2015 one incredible weekend of gaming.  I'm already looking forward to SCARAB 6!
